Size Guide

How SHOPFR sizes run, how to measure yourself, and what to do when you are between two sizes.

Sizes on this site are the sizes on the garment label — we do not translate them. If a piece is listed as FR 38, it is a French 38. Where a style runs small or large, the product page says so in the details.

Measuring yourself

Use a soft tape, keep it level, and measure over underwear rather than over clothes. If you are between two sizes, size up for knitwear and outerwear, size down for silk and jersey.

  • Bust — around the fullest part, arms down.
  • Waist — at the narrowest point, usually just above the navel.
  • Hips — around the fullest part, feet together.
  • Inseam — from the crotch seam to the hem of trousers that already fit you.

Shoes

Footwear is listed in EU sizes. Our boots and loafers run true to size; if you are a half size, take the size up. Ballerinas and sandals run slightly narrow.

Between two sizes?

Email hello@shop-fr.shop with the piece and your measurements. We will tell you which size our team wears in the same style — usually within a day.
